A family-run platform building the world's most useful place to book tours, activities, and transfers. We've been doing this since 2002, before "OTA" was a word most people knew.
Family-run online travel agency specializing in tours, activities, and transfers worldwide.
Started by the same family that still runs the platform today. Continuous operation for over 20 years.
Tours, activities, and transfers across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the Americas, and Africa.
Bookings handled across day tours, multi-day adventures, transfers, and ticketed experiences.
Native-speaker support across all six languages, including right-to-left Hebrew.
Glendale, California (North America operations) and Eilat, Israel (Middle East and Europe operations).
BookingRadar started in 2002 as a family-run tour operator in Israel. Not an aggregator. Not a marketplace. A real operator that designed, organized, and delivered the full travel experience from arrival to departure.
For two decades we ran tours and transfers ourselves: building itineraries, employing guides, contracting drivers, coordinating accommodations, and handling every detail of every trip. We learned what travelers actually need by being the ones responsible when something went wrong at 2am in a hotel lobby half a world away.
The shift to platform came after we knew the operator side cold. By 2010 we built our own booking infrastructure. By 2018 we were aggregating supplier inventory through Bokun and other connectivity tools. By 2022 we relaunched as BookingRadar, bringing the operator's perspective into a platform that connects travelers with vetted operators worldwide.
What stayed the same through all of it: the same family still runs it. We sit in offices in Los Angeles and Eilat, we know our supplier partners personally because we've been on the operator side ourselves, and we still pick up the phone when something goes wrong.
The world doesn't need another generic OTA. It needs a platform run by people who've been the operators on the other end of the booking. That's the difference.
Every operator on the platform has been individually onboarded and reviewed. No automatic listings.
Customer service in 6 languages, including WhatsApp 24/7. Native speakers, not chatbots.
Same ownership, same values, same accountability. No private equity, no acquisition pressure.
Built from day one for travelers in English, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, German, and French.
Two decades, three platform rebuilds, one family.
Family travel agency opens its doors. First bookings: day tours and transfers in southern Israel and Jordan.
Moved from email and phone bookings to a proprietary online reservation system. Opened up online ordering to international travelers.
Added Russian and English language support to serve growing inbound traffic from Eastern Europe and North America.
First Bokun integration goes live, enabling automatic inventory sync from operator systems. Rezdy and FareHarbor follow.
Continued operations through COVID-19 with a focus on flexible booking and full refunds. Maintained relationships with supplier partners through the toughest two years in modern travel history.
Complete platform rebuild and rebrand. New global brand, new technology stack, expansion into Spanish, German, French, and full Hebrew (RTL) interface.
Family-funded $2.5M reinvestment into the platform: technology, infrastructure, and team expansion. No outside investors, no acquisition pressure. Pure long-term commitment to the business.
Booking-tours Inc. incorporated as a Delaware corporation with operational headquarters in Glendale, California. North American operations and supplier growth team established.
Full Refund Protect integration at checkout, giving every traveler the option to upgrade their booking with refund protection. A meaningful step toward making bookings as flexible as travel demands.

"The world doesn't need another generic OTA. It needs a platform run by people who understand that booking a tour shouldn't feel like booking a flight."
"We've been doing this since 2002. Most of our supplier partners we know personally. That's not a marketing line. That's how we still operate."
